It doesn’t take a big commitment to make a big impact

Volunteering your time makes a big difference in the lives of people struggling to make ends meet. It does not need to be a lot, but two to five hours a week is all it takes. You will see an immediate difference in your efforts and receive more than what you gave.

Step One
Complete the Volunteer Application below, and let us know what tasks that you would like to help with, and submit.  Volunteers working directly with finances, seniors or children must complete a Background Check Authorization.

Step Two
We will send you an email to acknowledge that we received your application. We will arrange for a phone meeting if further details are needed. Then we will arrange a visit to the Dream Center for a mini-tour. If we are a good fit for you, we will get started with a Volunteer Orientation and training.

Youth Volunteers

The minimum age for volunteers is 12 years old, with the exception of family events.  Youth under the age of 18 must complete a Youth Waiver, signed by a parent or guardian. Supervision is required for all minors and the following student-to-chaperone ratios are typically observed: 3:1 ratio for elementary students; 5:1 ratio for junior high students, and 10:1 ratio for high school students. Chaperones/Supervisors are responsible to keep the youth on task and to encourage appropriate behavior. Given that volunteering is a life-shaping experience intended to assist youths in developing a positive sense of self and enhance character formation, the conduct and behavior required of youth volunteers reflects the same guidelines that are followed by adults.
